New friends are always welcome at Friendship International, an organization lead by Austin Baptist women for women from countries around the world. For 40 years, women from more than 90 countries have met at Hyde Park Baptist Church from 9:45 to Noon on Thursdays from September to May to share in fellowship, special programs designed for them, and to attend classes that help them imporve oral and written English skills, develop creative skills, and understand the American culture and customs. The program is free.
