New friends are always welcome at Friendship International, an organization led by Austin Baptist women for women from countries around the world. For more than 40 years women from more than 90 countries have met at Hyde Park Baptist Church from 9:45 to Noon on Thursdays from September to May to share in fellowship, special programs designed for them, and to attend a variety of English as a Second Languages (ESL)classes that help them improve oral and written English skills, develop creative skills, and understand the American culture and customs. The program is free. Please join us Jan. 26, 2012, when we return from our Christmas break.
